  3. Chemistry:  Describe the chemistry of the photo development process - how does the developer, stop bath, fixer, and wash work to process a silver halide photograph? (>250wds)

  2. Humanities:  Water decision with impact research; Hetch Hetchy writing
  3. Chemistry:  Hydrogen Balloon Lab - what happenned, observations, questions, follow up (>250wds)

Blot Post 8:

  2. Humanities:  Landscape panorama (250-350 wds); revised draft of peer critique; focus on describing "elements of the photo" and how they are used in the composition
  3. Chemistry:  Link to your independent experiment with what you hope to learn/accomplish

Blog Post 9:
  1. Weekly Reflection (<200wds) - add your landscape photo from the week, before and after processing with captions
  2. Humanities: Steinbeck model writing (from Google Classroom), share your project group with a progress report 
  3. Chemistry:  Write up for the Light experiment - What is light?  How do atoms absorb and emit light?  How can we identify elements by the light they emit? (link to video if you missed this)

Blog Post 10:

  2. Project Teams:  What is your project group and give a progress report - What did you plan?  What did you accomplish? What's next?
  3. Humanities:  Revision of landscape-Steinbeck writing piece; Juxtapose/Dichotomy 300wd. essay
  4. Chemistry:  1 science item from the week - Dry Ice Experiment, Core Concept, Independent Experiment, etc.

  2. Project:  Why is it important to exhibit work?  What role does each step in exhibiting a photo take (photo, processing, metallic paper, epoxy)?  How is light affected in each step of this process?

Blog Post 12:
  1. Weekly Reflection (<200wds)
  2. Project:  Final processed landscape photo with caption describing the processing 
  3. Humanities:  Revised draft of wonder/curiosity piece
  4. Chemistry:  Chemistry of epoxy and polymerization; Cosmos Episode 5 reflection - What can we learn from Light? What information is in Light?

Blog Post 13:
  1. Weekly Reflection (<200wds)
  2. Project:  Celestial "hit list" - what are you going to photograph, how, when, ect.; describe the object that you are capturing and what it is; your camping pack list

Blog Post 14:
  1. Weekly Reflection (<200wds)
  2. Project:  Trip reflection - Did you get your photo?  If so, what was it (tell the story)?  If not, what is your next step?;  What is something that you'll remember 10 years from now?  Add any images you would like.​
